Letter from the Editor: November 2020

It's November and do you know what that means? It's our BIRTHDAY!

It's hard to believe that 20 years ago, the very first edition of pcPolyzine was published. In 2000, our founder, Deirdre Woodward, realized there was a gap in how the polymer clay community shared ideas. Her vision was to create an online magazine where polymer clay artists could access quality articles, timely advice, and solid answers to a variety of questions.

A few years later, my mother and our second publisher, Jeannie Havel took over pcPolyzine. She worked to bring the e-zine into the social media age and continued to keep the articles relevant, timely, and informational.

As I've taken the reigns, I try to keep both Deirdre's and mom's vision for pcPolyzine in focus, all while evolving with online platforms and how we share virtually.

We've come a long way since 2000 and we're excited to continue to provide the polymer clay community with many more years of valuable articles, tutorials, and information!

Happy Birthday!
