As we navigate through another month of social distancing, it has become clear that whatever our society is when this is over will not be what we knew prior to March 2020.
Recently, I was invited to the Tallahassee Polymer Clay Art Guild's virtual monthly meeting. It was great to connect with all the members through video chat and get to share our newest ideas and techniques. We were able to learn about two different tutorials during our meeting—some textured beads and ideas for working with leather clay and cold connections. Most of all, it was just nice to see everyone and be able to chat about a medium in which we all enjoy.
So this month, I challenge you and your guilds to find new and innovative ways to stay in touch and share ideas. This situation may have changed the way we interact, but it doesn't mean we can't connect with one another. Be creative, share, and enjoy new techniques in polymer clay!
I want to especially thank the Tallahassee Polymer Clay Art Guild for inviting me to share in their monthly meeting!
