After spending close to a year deciding how to move forward with
pcPolyzine; searching for old files and information; and conquering my learning
curve of building a new website, the redesigned pcPolyzine site went live in
July. The responses received from each and every one of you throughout the
polymer clay community were both uplifting and inspiring.
Since July, I have had conversations with many of you about
the path forward for pcPolyzine—expect
some new things in 2020!
First, pcPolyzine now has a forum dedicated to sharing
information, knowledge, and resources throughout the polymer clay community.
Please visit the forum, post, and share! We’ve all learned tips and tricks over
the years and the pcPolyzine forum is a great place to post them for everyone to enjoy. Who knows, you might come across a forgotten tip or technique
that sparks some creativity.
When we did our Summer Poll, our readers wanted more
Featured Artists. Throughout 2020, we plan to continue featuring polymer clay
artists from around the world. If you or someone you know is interested in
being a Featured Artist, please let us know!
Also based on the Summer Poll, we’d like to be able to
share more information about new products as well as tool demos. Please don’t
hesitate to share information with us so we can feature it in an upcoming issue
of pcPolyzine.
And finally, we will be working to add more videos and
tutorials to our YouTube channel. Stay tuned for a series of Beginners videos
covering some polymer clay basics. We want to make sure we’re
sharing valuable videos, so tell us what you want!
It’s been a rewarding adventure for me this year and I look
forward to everything 2020 has in store!
