Letter From the Editor: August 2021

Here at pcPolyzine, we love sharing upcoming events, demos, and classes with our readers!

We don't know what the temps are like where you are, but here, it's HOT! So while we're enjoying the air conditioning, we'll take full advantage of these upcoming events.

The Polymer Art Summit 2021 takes a deep dive into the history of mokume gane and how it's impacted the art of polymer clay. This event features artists Anke Humpert, Barbara McGuire, Helen Wyland-Malchow, Julie Picarello, Linda Leach, Philip Wiegard, and Suzanne Andrews. To learn more about this online event or to register, check out their site.

Want to learn how to make earrings?! Craftjam is hosting a virtual Polymer Clay Earrings class designed to teach you how to turn your clay into unique earrings. This event is being hosted twice this month: August 14 from 10-12 CDT and August 29 12-2 CDT.

Looking for something fun and funky to make with polymer clay? Look no further! The San Diego Polymer Clay Guild is hosting Alice Stropple's virtual Crazy Birds, Cats, and Dogs class. Sounds fun, right?

Do you have other upcoming events you'd like us to share? Send us an email or connect with us on FacebookTwitter, or through Instagram and let us know!
